      Tang Hao<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Tang Hao was born in 1997. Raised in the rural south of Taiwan. He is doing his MFA (Film Directing) at the Taipei National University of the Arts. He made music videos and works as a screenwriter with an awarded work Cupid on Target (2017). Burning (2022) is his first short. The filmmaker returns to his hometown to tell stories that root in the earth.<\/p>\n

      Tang Hao was born in 1997. Raised in the rural south of Taiwan. He is doing his MFA (Film Directing) at the Taipei National University of the Arts. He made music videos and works as a screenwriter with an awarded work Cupid on Target (2017). Burning (2022) is his first short. The filmmaker returns to his hometown to tell stories that root in the earth.       We grow up through numerous encounters, no matter good or bad. Sometimes these encounters become unforgettable memories, like magic moments in our lives. Sometimes we might be traumatized by what we have experienced, and they might last forever. The two kids explore the world in their own way. When something happens, there is no turning back. The cornfield is exactly the same as in my childhood memory, only back then it was taller than me. I returned to my hometown located in the rural area of Southern Taiwan to mourn for of my restless youth in the barren fields.
