This film explores an attempt to reconcile with the loss of a loved one – more precisely, the first stage of grief: denial. I approach the dream as a truth-masking façade, yet at the same time as an authentic construct of the subconscious, speaking through associations about what truly preoccupies the protagonist. The viewer is immersed in a seductive psychedelic dream, only to be awakened and painfully returned to reality. In this sense, the film also reflects the post-truth condition of our time, when, instead of accepting reality, we choose to believe in the narratives we create for ourselves.
